Tasliym Adams serves as Whitman-Walker Health’s Director of Nursing Support with extensive experience in clinical operations, staff leadership, and patient-centered care. Tasliym previously served as Manager of the Medical Assistants and Senior Manager of Medical Support Services, joining the organization in 2007.
In 2025, Tasliym was nominated by her peers to receive the inaugural Adisa Bakare Legacy Award for Care, Connection, & Impact in recognition of her embodiment of our beloved Whitman-Walker colleague through her spirit of care for community in her work every day.
She is deeply committed to operational excellence, accountability, and fostering a supportive culture where both staff and patients can thrive. She is passionate about building strong teams, improving workflows, and ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, consistency, and a commitment to excellence.
