We’re excited to announce that Whitman-Walker Health will begin using Epic, a new electronic health record system, on November 3, 2025.
This upgrade will make it easier for you to access your health information and will strengthen the way we care for you. We’re partnering with Unity Health Care, another DC community health center, to bring this new system to the patients and staff of both organizations.
Epic is one of the most advanced electronic health record systems in the country, trusted by many leading hospitals and clinics. Moving to Epic means:
- More connection: With the MyChart patient portal, you’ll have convenient access to your health information, test results, and care team.
- Better care coordination: Your providers will have the most up-to-date information, helping them collaborate and make the best decisions for your care.
- Greater safety and quality: Epic’s tools reduce errors, improve communication, and give your care team a complete picture of your health.
