Meningitis vaccine update. Due to demand, WWH is now offering meningitis vaccines to non-WWH patients. The vaccine costs $150 per shot. HIV-negative people will need one shot. HIV-positive people will need two shots eight weeks apart.
Beginning May 15, 2013, WWH has a new policy for appointment no-shows. This policy will make more appointments available for patients who need one. Read the details of the new policy.
Going the Extra Mile, our annual fundraising reception to benefit WWH's Legal Services program is Wednesday, May 29, 6:30 pm at the Carnegie Institution for Science, 1530 P St., NW. Visit the Going the Extra Mile website.
