May is Hepatitis Awareness Month. Gay and bisexual men account for 10 percent of all Hepatitis A cases and 20 percent of all Hepatitis B cases in the U.S.

An estimated 1.2 million people have chronic Hepatitis B while an estimated
3.2 million people have chronic Hepatitis C.

Twenty-five percent of all people infected with HIV are also infected with Hepatitis C.

News & Events

Meningitis vaccine update. Due to demand, WWH is now offering meningitis vaccines to non-WWH patients. The vaccine costs $150 per shot. HIV-negative people will need one shot. HIV-positive people will need two shots eight weeks apart.

Beginning May 15, 2013, WWH has a new policy for appointment no-shows. This policy will make more appointments available for patients who need one. Read the details of the new policy.
