To increase patient access to care, Whitman-Walker Health has changed its appointment scheduling system. When you contact Whitman-Walker, you will now be able to schedule your visit within the next 10 business days. All appointments on and after August 21, 2017, have been cancelled. We will contact you 14 days in advance to reschedule your appointment under the new system.

Monique Thompson joined Metro TeenAIDS (MTA) in 2012 through Public Allies DC, a movement grounded in the framework that “Everyone Leads.” Through Public Allies, Thompson was placed at MTA as an HIV/STI Tester and Counselor where she quickly learned the intricacies of HIV 101 and STIs.  After her service year, Thompson joined the MTA team full-time. She has embraced and enjoys her new role as a Youth Health Educator here at Whitman-Walker Health. Thompson is a Brooklyn, NY native and graduated from Howard University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in allied health sciences.
