Director of Community Health
My name is Ramatoulaye Keita and I’ve been at Whitman-Walker since September of 2013 starting as a health educator in our community health department and am currently the Director of Community Health. I work at Whitman-Walker because I believe in our care model thats designed to deliver equitable and low barrier care to under-resourced populations around the DC metropolitan area. In my role, I oversee our HIV prevention efforts to include, HIV testing and counseling, PrEP/PEP initiatives, and targeted outreach efforts. I hold a BS in Public Health and an MS in Management and Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland. Im a first generation West African from Guinea, Conakry and proud to say that I’m not only fluent in English, but also French and three of my native dialects.
