The Gay Men’s Health & Wellness/STD Clinic

The clinic begins at 5:30 pm. Services are available on a first come, first served basis. This service is entirely run by dedicated volunteers and does not schedule appointments. The number of clients seen varies depending on volunteer staffing for that particular evening. To guarantee a space, it is important to arrive as early as possible to receive a number. Typically, all numbers are distributed by 5:30 pm, sometimes earlier. You should expect to spend between one and two hours going through the process.

The HIV test is a rapid test and the results will be provided during the same night it is performed in clinic. All other test results will be ready eight days from the day of testing by calling 202.745.7000.
