Whitman-Walker Health offers many types of trainings for organizations aimed at educating people on modern LGBT healthcare needs, appropriate language, current research findings and more.
We offer free capacity building services to the many youth-serving organizations in D.C. These trainings assist groups with promoting and delivering sustainable HIV prevention methods and sexual health education.
Mautner Project of Whitman-Walker works to reduce the gap in health disparities among LGBT people with a health expertise in lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LBT) women’s needs. This training is available as a continuing education unit for social workers, doctors and nurses.
