Mautner Project Celebration | Capital Pride Women’s Kickoff Party
Come celebrate with Mautner Project of Whitman-Walker Health for our annual celebration and Capital Pride’s Women’s Kick-Off Party on June 3, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm!
This can’t-miss event, co-hosted by Tagg Magazine and Ladies of Lure, will feature delicious drinks made with liquor & beer from local, LGBTQ women-owned companies including Denizens Brewing Co. and Republic Restoratives, along with Latin and BBQ-style street food. There will also be fabulous live music and a festive dance party! All of this taking place in the parking lot of Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center, transformed into a colorful city gardenscape.
Help us honor the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer women & friends of the D.C. LGBTQ community and 27 years of Mautner Project of Whitman-Walker Health services with a night of fun, friendship and dancing!
Online ticket sales are now CLOSED. Tickets will still be available at the door for $20 (General Admission) and $40 (Premium Admission with two drink tickets).
The Peace & Body Roll Duo BOOMscat, Washington, DC based, consists of keyboardist/drummer/producer, Asha Santee (BOOM), and vocalist/songwriter Jennifer Patience Rowe (scat). Together, they create a sound that ignites vulnerability, elevation and self-reflection. Since their conception in the fall of 2012, BOOMscat has released three projects including No Life Jacket EP which reached #18 on the iTunes Top RnB Albums and have gained support from gospel music legend, Richard Smallwood, international performing artist Ayanna Gregory, The Gateway Arts District, Kimpton Hotels, several event promoters throughout the Metropolitan Area and many more avid music lovers.
