Other Ways to Give
“In Honor Of” or Memorial Giving
“In Honor Of” and Memorial giving is a particularly meaningful way to honor or remember family, friends, colleagues or loved ones. This type of tribute enables you to give a gift that gives to many. Upon receipt of your gift, an acknowledgement of your caring tribute is issued to the designated recipient. As with all gifts, we will acknowledge you, the donor with a thank-you letter containing the appropriate tax language.

What will your legacy be?
We all want to make a difference, even after we are gone. Contributing to the future financial health of Whitman-Walker Health right now ensures we will always be equipped to meet the evolving urgent health care needs in our community.
Whether it is a neighbor who was newly diagnosed with HIV last month and is frightened; a working single mom who comes to us for our full range of women’s health services in one convenient location; or others who have lost their jobs, yet now receive all the vital health services they need, regardless of their ability to pay – you can make a difference in these lives. And you become a sustaining and vital part of our family!
For many, a charitable bequest is the easiest and best way to make a gift. Giving costs nothing now. But the larger payoff is joining the club of long-term Whitman-Walker partners.

As long as even one community member faces anything less than full health care equality, our work remains incomplete. Your charitable support through a gift in your will or trust or by beneficiary designation means we will prevail.

Please note that Whitman-Walker reserves the right to decline any gift that does not further its goals or involves special maintenance or other conditions Whitman-Walker may be unable to satisfy. Also, we request our donors to make arrangements to deliver their in-kind contributions.
