Whitman-Walker Health supports people as young as 13 years old with gender affirming care. We know that no two people have the same goals for themselves (sometimes called a transition, or process of affirming their gender) and we aim to provide a variety of services to meet your needs. These services may include medical care, behavioral health care, surgical referrals, assistance with name and gender change, insurance navigation and other supportive services to help reach your health and wellness goals. We may also have limited information about services in community if there are resources we do not provide, or if you’re weighing all of your options.
