AIDS Walk Announces Four Presenting Partners for 2012

Booz Allen Hamilton, Maxor Pharmacies, NBC4 and Radio One Show Their Support

Washington, DC – Booz Allen Hamilton, Maxor Pharmacies, NBC4 and Radio One have become Presenting Partners of AIDS Walk 2012. This year’s 5K walk and timed run will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Freedom Plaza beginning at 8:15 am. All proceeds benefit HIV/AIDS services at Whitman-Walker Health and more than a dozen Community Partner organizations. To register, visit

NBC4 and Radio One have been long time supporters of the Walk, promoting the event to their audiences and supplying on-air talent for the Walk for many years. NBC4’s support goes back to the very first AIDS Walk in 1987. Booz Allen Hamilton returns for their second year as a Presenting Partner, while Maxor marks their first year as an AIDS Walk Partner.
