The Legal Community AIDS Walk Task Force (LCAT) is a group of attorneys, paralegals and other legal industry professionals who have taken a lead in the fundraising effort for AIDS Walk Washington. LCAT participants raised more than $211,000 in 2011. Since its inception, LCAT has raised more than $3 million for AIDS Walk Washington. All proceeds raised by the Legal Community AIDS Walk Task Force go to Whitman-Walker Health's Legal Services Program. This year our goal is to raise at least $225,000.
Law firms, other law offices, legal industry vendors and law schools participate by forming AIDS Walk teams. In addition, law firms and legal industry vendors can become sponsors of AIDS Walk Washington by pledging a donation of $15,000, $10,000, $5,000, $2,500 or other amount.
